This renovation spreads across 3 levels and was designed to link through to the existing two storey house. The site slopes away steeply and the existing house had shifted so some undermining of footings was also required to ensure the existing house was stable. 
The extension is designed around a central staircase that links the new to old, as well as providing access from the garage and the street for visitors to the home.
